Agriculture Viability Grant
The Town of Ledyard, Connecticut recognizes the value of agriculture to our community and our State. In 2009, the Town applied for and received an "Agriculture Viability Grant" from the Connecticut Department of Agriculture. The goal of the program is to strengthen the economic viability of Connecticut farmers and to promote the sustainability of agriculture in Connecticut and its municipalities.
As part of this program, we are requesting input and assistance from local farms and are asking that they complete a survey. The Farm Survey can be downloaded and returned to the Planning Office or can be completed online here. The information from the survey will be used to give us a better picture of local farming efforts and for promotional and information activities.
