Do you need help with bathing or dressing? Are you caring for a sick or elderly person? Are you falling at home? Are you overwhelmed with your medicines? If yes to any of these questions, than Ledyard Regional VNA can help you.

Home health care services include skilled nursing, physical and occupational therapy, speech and language services, medical social work services and home health aides. Infusion therapy is available. All care is provided under the direction of a person’s physician.

If you are hospitalized, residents have to request that homecare be provided by the Ledyard nurses. Nursing care is never denied to residents due to lack of payment source.

Prenatal and Newborn Service
Qualified maternal/child nurses provide home visits and health instruction to expectant and new parents. Home visits to newborns are made in coordination with the baby’s physician. New parents can request the Ledyard nurses by informing the nurse handling discharge from the hospital.

Ledyard Regional VNA is a preferred provider for many insurances including Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross, Aetna, HealthNet and Mashantucket Medplex plans. We are also licensed by the State Department of Health, certified by Medicare and nationally accredited by the prestigious Joint Commission.
