Pneumonia Vaccine – Available year round with physician authorization to adults with chronic diseases, especially heart and respiratory problems. There is no cost for Medicare, Blue Cross and  Health Net insurances. Cost is set at Medicare's annual rate for vaccine.

The first flu/pneumonia clinic will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Ledyard Senior Center from 9:00 a.m. until noon. Medicare, Blue Cross and Health Net insurances will be accepted. Price for those paying cash will be $40 for the flu shot and $58 for the pneumonia shot. Ages 18 and older welcome. No appointment necessary.

Please bring your insurance card and wear short sleeves!

Free blood pressure screening clinics are held at the Ledyard Senior Center on the 1st Wednesday and the 4th Tuesday of each month from 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. No appointment necessary.

Blood pressure checks every Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. - noon in the Nursing office, Ledyard Town Hall. No appointment necessary.
