The Ledyard Police Department currently employs 22 Ledyard Officers and 1 Resident State Trooper. The department is responsible for the policing of an area covering 40.5 square miles and a resident population of just over 15,000 people. The population total does not factor in the added numbers of casino patrons and employees, thousands of which travel our roads daily.
